I'm seeing several families join up for my May 4th Metabolic Jumpstart, which is wonderful. Each family member needs to be 18 - 65 years. When the whole family commits, its easier to stay on track. And because we metabolically match each diet plan, every family member can get their own personal plan and compare their nutrition targets. It can get a bit competitive too.

"The more you sit the more you die!" Although a bit scary, I think this would be a good newspaper headline for on a 12-year study of 17,000 Canadians out this week. The research published in the May 2009 issue of Medicine & Science in Sports and Exercise showed a 50% increased death rates for the people who sat the most compared to people who sat the least. It appears that when you sit for extended periods of time (like I'm trying not to do now) your metabolic fitness declines. Matt's Metabolic Message = Sit less, stand more, live more!
Just received this email from Heather, who has ust completed our March Jumpstart. I like the idea of a "new look mother". Mum's how about you give your children this gift and children, how about you give the gift of a "new look son" or "new look daughter". Why not jumpstart the whole family. I did it for mine and our family get togethers now double-up as support groups. It really helps you to be supported this way. "I am really happy with my jumpstart journey and look forward to joining the May journey as your guest. I have contacted my sister giving her details of the May journey as well but have not heard from her as yet. In the 4 weeks I lost 3kg and my waist measurement went from 84cm to 78cm so am really excited about that.
